The Community Services Division, previously Bylaws Services Division, works to promote compliance with the City's bylaws, regulations, and programs. These services are primarily accomplished through public relations, education and awareness programs, and enforcement.

The City of Kamloops has several policies and bylaws that have been put in place to ensure the health and safety of our residents and the protection of the environment. 

In our diverse and inclusive neighborhoods, every resident plays a vital role in contributing to our outstanding quality of life. Our Community Services Division supports public safety and community harmony, and our bylaws provide the tools to do this and help shape how our community lives. Policies are a governing framework adopted by City Council to guide City operations to promote transparency, accountability, and responsible government.
