Volunteer Appreciation BBQ 2012

In celebration of National Volunteer Week a volunteer appreciation BBQ will be held in honour of the volunteers who build, maintain, and grow healthy communities.

Kamloops can be proud of their volunteerism efforts, which provide real and meaningful support for the benefit all of society. Each year thousands of volunteers lend a helping hand for tournaments and events which would not be possible if not for their dedication and hard work behind the scenes.

This year's appreciation event attracted interest from the business community and we thank the Investors Group for graciously donating prizes. To top it up City Council and our Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services department also contributed prizes.
