Kamloops Museum and Archives (KMA)

Established in 1937, the Kamloops Museum and Archives (KMA) is one of the oldest museums in the province. Operating as part of the City of Kamloops, the institution collects, organizes, and interprets notable objects and historic records from the region for the purposes of preservation, research, and exhibition.

With over 20,000 artifacts and one of the Interior’s oldest and largest archives, the KMA's collections evolve continuously to better reflect the cultural landscape of Kamloops and its neighbouring communities. Through archival research and across a range of rotating programs and exhibitions, the KMA is an accessible, inclusive, and collaborative environment for preserving cultural memory.
