On-street Parking Rates Increase January 2018

Release date:
October 30, 2017

Kamloops, BC – Effective January 1, 2018, on-street parking rates will see a moderate increase, as outlined in the 2013 amendment of the City’s Traffic Bylaw No. 23-30.

The increase only affects metered on-street parking, and rates are as follows:

•    $1.50 per hour for the first two hours
•    $3.00 for the third hour

The City would like to remind residents that there are two convenient ways to pay for parking: at any of the 96 pay stations in the downtown core (via cash or credit card) or with the pay by phone option through Telepark. For more parking information, visit www.kampark.ca .
