In response to the wildfires that are affecting communities in the Okanagan and Interior regions, Kamloops Museum and Archives is offering fire evacuees free admission. Kamloops Museum and Archives aims to provide a safe space where individuals and families can find comfort, inspiration, and a brief escape from the many challenges associated with the wildfires. The Museum offers a welcoming environment with children’s activities, comfortable seating, reading materials, and local history exhibitions.
Kamloops Museum and Archives is committed to supporting our community and views culture as a part of health and connection. Fire evacuees can identify themselves to staff for free entry from now until September 30, 2023.
