How to Play: Winter Challenge

Release date:
November 27, 2020

Kamloops, BC – The City of Kamloops, in partnership with PLAYKamloops, is challenging the Kamloops community to get outside and to get moving December 1–31. Residents can challenge themselves to work through the How to Play Calendar, which provides inspiration for how to enjoy winter in our own backyard playground.

The more activities that are completed, the greater the chances of winning a weekly draw or the $500 grand prize package.

Joining the How to Play Winter Challenge is easy:

  • Access the How to Play Winter Calendar at PlayKamloops.com, on Facebook at @playkamloops, or on Instagram at @play_kamloops.
  • Use the ideas to guide you through 31 days of winter activities and complete as many activities as you can.
  • Show us how you play by uploading a picture tagged “PLAYKamloops” on Facebook (@playkamloops) or Instagram (@play_kamloops), and using the hashtag #howtoplayinwinter for entries into additional weekly prize draws.
  • At the end of the challenge, submit your calendar to playkamloops@gmail.com or drop it off in person at the John Tod Centre Boys and Girls Club (150 Wood Street) or the Tournament Capital Centre front desk (910 McGill Road). Drop-off deadline is Friday, January 8, 2021, at 12:00 pm. Each activity equals an entry into the grand prize draw.

We're so excited to see how you play this winter! For more information, visit PlayKamloops.com
