As a result of these updates, the time of day at which collection trucks will be in your area may change. To ensure garbage and recycling is collected, residents are reminded that under the City’s Solid Waste and Recyclables Bylaw No.40-59, garbage and recycling carts are to be placed at the curb by 7:00 am on designated collection days.

To provide residents with a collection day reminder, and to assist with the recycling and garbage guidelines, the City has launched a new ‘Waste Wise Kamloops’ app. The app includes collection day reminders and a waste wizard to help residents properly dispose of various products and materials. The app is available for Apple and Android. This service is also available online at www.kamloops.ca/recycling.
