The City of Kamloops is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 Community Art Grants. These grants promote the development and awareness of the arts in our community by supporting creative and impactful projects.
The Community Art Grants are awarded once per year and are available to all non-profit organizations. Organizations whose regular activities do not typically include artistic production are encouraged to collaborate with artists or arts organizations to bring their creative visions to life. Ongoing operational funding will not be provided through this program.
In 2024, $30,000 was awarded to the following 11 organizations for projects that enriched our community:
- BIG Little Science Centre
- Chamber Musicians of Kamloops
- Kamloops Caribbean Cultural Society
- Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association
- Kamloops Comedy Society
- Kamloops Film Society
- Kamloops Highland Games Society
- Kamloops International Buskers Festival Society
- Kamloops Japanese Canadian Association
- Project X Theatre Production
- Vivace Chorale Society
Applications for the 2025 Community Art Grants must be submitted by 4:00 pm on Friday, April 4, 2025. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding support.
