City Agrees in Principle to KGHM Community Benefits Agreement Proposal

Kamloops, BC - After eighteen months of negotiation, the City of Kamloops has agreed in principle to a Community Benefits Agreement with KGHM Ajax Mining Inc. in the amount of $3.8 million annually (see attachment).  This contribution will begin if the project is approved and construction has started and will continue throughout the life of the project. 

The City and KGHM will be working through the details of the agreement and will release additional information in the next 3-5 months.
