Barnhartvale Road Reopens

Release date:
May 15, 2018

Kamloops, BC –  With the water receding in Campbell Creek, crews have assessed the stability of Barnhartvale Road and reopened the 7200 block near the Barnhartvale Hall, which closed on May 5 due to rising creek water.

The City is working closely with the BC River Forecast Centre and Emergency Management BC to monitor snowpack levels, snow melt, and water levels in local waterways. The City will continue to provide updates on water levels and flood preparation activities as necessary. Residents are reminded to exercise caution near waterways and high, fast-moving water.
