Revitalization Tax Exemption Review Public Information Session

November 17, 2021
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Location:
Online (Zoom)

The City is seeking feedback on proposed amendments to the Revitalization Tax Exemption (RTE) bylaws.

RTEs are commonly used to revitalize a specific area of the community or to meet a critical community need that requires a mechanism such as a tax exemption to spur on the desired outcome.

The key proposed amendments include an expansion on the City Centre RTE boundary, a city-wide RTE for redeveloping hotels/motels into new multi-family or mixed-use developments, and a city-wide RTE for developing new commercial daycare facilities.

Join us in an online session to learn more about these proposed amendments. The session will be hosted on Zoom. The link will be available on the Let's Talk web page at LetsTalk.Kamloops.ca/RTE the day of the event.
