Lansdowne St/Victoria St/Battle St

Sept 13 - Oct 31, 2021 | 7th Avenue to 13th Avenue

As part of the East Downtown Road Improvement project, crews will be milling and paving Lansdowne, Victoria and Battle Streets. One travel lane in each direction will be maintained at all times, with the exception of a short-term full closure of 10th Avenue. There will be NO on-street parking for the duration of the project.

Comazzetto Road/East Trans Canada Hwy Frontage Road

Sept 8 - mid-Oct, 2021 | Comazzetto Road, 120m of Frontage Road

When crews are working on Comazzetto Road, all traffic will be detoured with the exception of local traffic. 
When work is on the Frontage Road, traffic will be single lane alternating, with some possible detouring.
This project includes both day and night work. 

Summit Drive

Sept 15, 2021 - June 2022 | Whiteshield Cres South to Notre Dame Drive

One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained, although single lane alternating traffic may be occasionally be in effect in off-peak hours. Project details can be viewed at LetsTalk.Kamloops.ca/Summit-Downtown. 

Rose Hill Road

Sept 13 - October 4, 2021 | High Forest Place to 2049 Rose Hill Road

Traffic will be single lane alternating between High Forest Place and 2049 Rose Hill Road for installation of a gas main. 

3rd Avenue Pedestrian Bridge

May 25 - Sept 2021 | Lansdowne Street to Lorne Street

Motorists are advised that lane closures remain in effect for the duration of the project. Northbound and southbound lane closures on 3rd Avenue between Lansdowne Street and Lorne Street will continue to alternate on an as-needed basis to accommodate the work. Pedestrian access is being maintained. 

Fleetwood Avenue

May 25 - November 2021 | Southill Street to Desmond Street

Fleetwood Avenue, between Southill Street and Desmond Street, will be closed for the duration of the project, with the exception of local traffic. Driveway access to residents may be temporarily restricted during construction. Residents are advised that off-street parking may not be accessible at times during construction and to plan ahead by moving vehicles to adjacent streets before work commences Monday to Friday. On-street parking is not permitted during working hours on weekdays.

Victoria Street Farmers' Market

Wednesdays through October, 2021 | 5th Avenue - mid block between 4th & 5th Avenue

Please note that the Farmers' Market on Victoria Street will be closing the road from 5th Avenue to the mid-block crosswalk between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue every Wednesday. Vehicles will still be able to access the TNRD parkade from the 4th Avenue side.
