Council committees are created under the Community Charter to provide an opportunity for members of the public to work collaboratively and provide advice on matters referred to them by Council through the Terms of Reference.
Kamloops City Council annually appoints members of Council and interested members of the public to positions on Committees, Commissions, and Boards. These positions are voluntary and are established by Council-approved bylaws or terms of reference.
If members of the public are interested in serving their community on a volunteer basis, vacancies are advertised and applications are welcome at that time.
Please note: agendas and minutes for meetings that occured earlier than November 1, 2017 are found in our online document system.
