Water
The City of Kamloops get its primary water supply from the South Thompson River, with the exception of the Noble Creek and the Campbell Creek Systems. The Shuswap Lakes are our largest reservoirs and settling ponds.

Sewer
Sewage is often referred to as "wastewater" or "liquid waste". No matter what we call it, it is used water and solids from a community which must be collected and treated before being returned to the environment. To protect human health and to keep our rivers, lakes and streams safe for aquatic life, we must treat our wastewater before returning it to the environment.
