Tournament Capital Program
Since 2001, Kamloops has been synonymous with first class events, a knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteer base, strong athletic showings, and a wide variety of outstanding venues.

The City of Kamloops has long recognized Sport Tourism as an economic generator for the City and to that end has made our Tournament Capital Program one of its top goals in City Council's Strategic Plan.

With close to $50 million invested in new and renovated facilities to launch this program, we are well on our way to becoming Canada's premier host centre for tournaments, cultural events, high performance training camps and national and international competitions.

The City of Kamloops has built its vision and dream around the Canadian Sport Policy. By embracing these goals, Kamloops is realizing the results of increased participation, economic generation of Sport Tourism, first class facilities, and benefiting from an active and healthier community.

Drop-In basketball at the Tournament Capital Centre varies from day to day. Please call ahead for daily update/schedule and leave us your phone number.

Drop-in Walking Schedule - Please Phone First
Get fit and take a walk around the indoor track at the Tournament Capital Centre. Phone ahead to see availability for Drop-in Walking on the track during this fall/winter season.
