Jody Lewis
Executive Assistant to Mayor and Council
Jody has been with the City since January 2010.
Duties
Jody is responsible for scheduling appointments, meetings and events for Mayor and Council. She sits on the Sister City Committee and has had the opportunity to
welcome the official delegation from Uji Japan for the 20th Anniversary of our twinning this past July. Another amazing opportunity Jody had this past summer was hosting
Uji Junior High School Students for four days. "It was great getting to know the host families and spending time with the students. We had a great time."
CS: What makes you most proud of the work you do?
Jody: This job is very rewarding, as I get to meet new people all the time. It is exciting to see how individuals, societies and organizations contribute to the betterment of our city.
CS: What do you like to do in your spare time?
Jody: I like camping, swimming, boating, hiking, biking, running, snowmobiling, skating and hanging out with my family.
CS: What's your favorite activity in Kamloops?
Jody: There are lots of things to do in Kamloops, but I'd have to say my favourite is boating on the South Thompson River in the summer.
CS: If you could smash a world-record at anything, what would it be?
Jody: N/A
