Recreation Programming for Seniors

Throughout the year our recreation coordinators plan and coordinate a variety of fitness, sport, and leisure activities for our 50 plus citizens. We utilize several forms of media in promoting our senior's programs throughout the year - Activity Guide (Fall, Winter, Spring/Summer), and on our website, visit: www.kamloops.ca/activityguide. We also run a 'Take Time' column section in Kamloops This Week, as well as posters, flyers, news releases, midday show, and radio. The specific 50+ programming is identified under the Active Aging section of the Activity Guide, however, seniors are welcome and invited to register in our Adult programs as well.

Tournament Capital Centre Track Pass
This pass is available for a monthly fee of $17.50 and in addition there is access to the gentle circuit classes for free and is largely a program used by our 50 plus citizens.

ARCH - Affordable Recreation for Community Health
This subsidy program is available to lower income citizens (including seniors) in our community that would like to take part in our recreation programs.
