Honour House Tour

Kamloops, B.C. -Honour House is a "home away from home" for Emergency Services members and Canadian Armed Forces personnel (serving or retired) when they are ill or injured and need a place to stay with their families during treatment and recovery in the Lower Mainland.

The Honour House Society is currently on a "Tour of Honour" throughout BC to raise awareness for the house and its facilities. The tour is also intended to raise awareness for Honour Ranch, a beautiful property just outside Kamloops that will be used to assist with mental health injuries and PTSD in a serene and welcoming environment.

After visiting 20 communities in BC, starting in Victoria on April 28, the tour will be kicking off its final leg from Kamloops next week. The public is invited to welcome the Honour House Tour to Kamloops and learn more about the Honour House Society and the new Honour Ranch.

The Tour of Honour has already experienced great success. Honour House has received an increased number of referrals for people who wish to use the facility, and emergency first responders and military personnel are actively engaging with those on the tour to learn about assistance for mental health injuries. Donations received during the tour have been very generous.

The tour is excited to be bringing the word to Kamloops and surrounding communities next week, and Honour House is extremely grateful for your support!
