Community Meetings – Kamloops Resource Recovery Centre Access

Kamloops, B.C. - In January 2016, the City of Kamloops completed the purchase of the Owl Road Landfill in Valleyview. Over the next few years, the City will be transitioning the landfill into a Resource Recovery Centre. Part of this transition will be a review of possible access points to the site, specifically off Highland Drive or off Owl Road (accessed from Valleyview Drive).

The City will be hosting two community meetings to hear from residents in Valleyview and Juniper regarding the Kamloops Resource Recovery Centre access. Interested residents are invited to bring forward their comments, suggestions, and concerns. City staff will be on hand to listen, provide information and answer any questions.
