Public Consultation on Recreation Facility Study

Kamloops, B.C. -The City of Kamloops would like to clarify information coming out of February 2nd’s Council meeting regarding the Westsyde Pool repair and the Recreation Facility and Services Review and Feasibility Study for Westsyde, Brocklehurst and North Kamloops.

Public input will be sought regarding the proposed recreation strategy through a series of public consultation meetings in the Westsyde, Brocklehurst and North Kamloops neighbourhoods, over the course of the next eight to ten weeks. All Kamloops residents will be invited to attend these public consultation meetings. Input from these meetings will be presented to Council, who will take it into consideration before deciding to proceed with the $100,000 Recreation Facility and Services Review and Feasibility Study.
