Gearing Up for the Family Festival & Indoor GranFondo

Kamloops, B.C. -The 4th Annual Kamloops Family Festival and Indoor GranFondo is on Family Day weekend – Monday, February 8th. Starting at 10:00 am, come out to enjoy an active day with the kids at the Tournament Capital Centre!

In addition to face-painting and a photo booth, Big Little Science Centre will be there, 4Cats Studio will have a kids’ Artzone, PacificSport is hosting XploreSports, Kamloops Adaptive Sports Association has wheelchair basketball, and RiverCity Gymnastics will have an obstacle course and Princess Party. There will also be an expo with an eclectic group of exhibitors with new and interactive booths. Admission is free for both the expo and Family Festival.

The Kamloops Indoor GranFondo is a fundraiser for the MS Society, during which participants can ride for up to 6 hours on a bike trainer or spin bike. Registration is $50, which includes assistance with set-up, swag bag, aid stations with snacks and lunch provided by Taco Del Mar.

Back by popular demand this year will be live music by the Serious Dogs. To keep your energy levels high, a variety of spin instructors will lead different drills throughout the day!

There’s still time to register! Not feeling up to riding the whole time? New this year is the option of a relay team, so get your friends together to share a bike. Visit www.kamloopsgranfondo.ca to register.
