Westsyde Pool Update

Kamloops, B.C. – The City has assessed the roof at Westsyde Pool after experiencing issues with the ceiling panels a few weeks ago. Temporary repairs are underway and the pool is expected to re-open on Monday, March 9th.

Initial engineering investigations are pointing to an internal air leak in the building's envelope as the reason behind the sagging roof. The City will be taking the opportunity to investigate further while the ceiling is removed which will help develop the long term solution. Options and costs will be prepared once the scope is fully understood.

Westsyde Pool pass holders are able to access the Canada Games Aquatic Centre during the pool closure. For status updates on the temporary closure of Westsyde Pool please refer to or call 250-828-3616 during business hours.
