Snow clearing on downtown streets

Kamloops, B.C. – As the recent snowfall slows, City crews are working hard to remove accumulated snow from city streets. Residents are notified that crews will be working in the downtown area during the evenings on Tuesday, January 6th and Wednesday, January 7th.

The targeted areas include: 1st Avenue through 6th Avenue, Seymour Street and Victoria Street, between the hours of 8:00 pm and 7:00 am.

Residents are asked not to park on the streets in the above areas during these times to allow for the machinery to effectively remove the accumulated snow.

Please note that these times and locations are subject to change based on weather conditions and other demands.

Questions and concerns should be directed to 250-828-3461.
