TCC In Venue Naming Rights go to Warner Rentals Ltd.
Kamloops, BC – The City of Kamloops was pleased to unveil new “In Venue” naming rights as part of the Tournament Capital Club Partnership Program at an announcement yesterday morning at the Tournament Capital Centre.
Warner Rentals Ltd. purchased the in-venue naming rights for the "Warner Rentals Championship & Middle Court" and "Warner Rentals Leisure Pool & Waterslide". The rights have a three year term, worth a total of $112,500.
Kamloops has established itself as a leader in promoting sport tourism, and sport and venue development. As Canada's Tournament Capital, the City’s goal is to attract hosting opportunities to Kamloops, and work towards a sustainable financial model, while at the same time supporting local community organizations.
The Tournament Capital Club Partnership Program was developed to meet these goals. Selling in-venue naming rights to the corporate community allows the City to generate funds to support the costs associated with event bidding and hosting, while providing local businesses the opportunity to market their companies and support their community at the same time.
“Warner Rentals will be celebrating 40 years in business here in Kamloops, so we wanted to do something substantial for the community that has been so good to us over the years. Putting our name on the TCC, helping the City go after new sporting events, and supporting TRU Athletics was exactly what we were looking for. We could not be prouder of the agreement we reached. The TCC is a world class facility in the best city in the world,” commented Ralph Warner, president of Warner Rentals Ltd.
There are several other sponsorship opportunities through the Tournament Capital Club Partnership Program still available.
