Kamloops, B.C. –  The City of Kamloops is proud to celebrate with those who have helped build our community. National Seniors Day is an occasion for all Canadians to pay tribute to the work, sacrifice, and dedication of seniors.

On Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 the City of Kamloops will be joining in the national celebration of seniors by hosting a social from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Tournament Capital Centre.

The celebration will include free refreshments and snacks, as well as the opportunity to watch or try Tai Chi, Pickleball and Table Tennis.  Interior Health, United Way, the Seniors Advisory Committee, Keep on Moving, the Centre for Seniors Information, Oncore Services, Community Safety, and Interior Community Services will host information booths with great information on services and programs.
