Kamloops Museum Presents: From Cork to Co2: The History of the Lifejacket

Kamloops, B.C. – In celebration of BC Day, the Kamloops Museum & Archives will be offering free admission on Saturday, August 2nd from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. 

From 10:00 am to noon there will be a drop-in craft time for children. Afterwards, why not keep cool by exploring the Children’s Museum? Then, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, join the City of Kamloops Aquatics Supervisor at the Museum as he discusses a century of drowning prevention through the invention and evolution the lifejacket with a free presentation of “From Cork to Co2: The History of the Lifejacket”. The first 25 participants will receive a free swim pass. All ages are welcome.
