Tim Hortons Partnership Extended

Kamloops, B.C. - Tim Hortons and the City of Kamloops have extended their partnership to sponsor one free public skating event each month for 2013. The goal of this partnership is to support families getting physically active and spending time together in a fun and positive environment.

Tim Hortons is an organization that has an excellent history of providing sustainable business practices through their local, provincial and national social and community engagement efforts. With this partnership, over 100 participants are expected at each free skate. Tim Hortons will generously support each ice booking event and hot chocolate gift cards, while the City of Kamloops will provide skate patrollers for safety on the ice.

The City believes in access for all and it is through these community partnerships this program can continue. The City of Kamloops, in its continuing development of the Public Skating and Drop in Hockey programs, are excited to have Tim Hortons as a partner. Join us for our first FREE skate on BC's first Family Day on February 11th, 2013 at McArthur Island Olympic Rink from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
