Kamloops, B.C. - In celebration of National Seniors Day, the City of Kamloops invites residents for tea/coffee, snacks and good conversation on Monday, October 1st from 10:00 am to noon at the Tournament Capital Centre. There will be music, refreshments and information booths with news about community events and programs for seniors.
Canada is proud to pay tribute to the seniors who have helped build our country and continue to make valuable contributions to Canadian communities, workplaces and society. National Seniors Day is an occasion for all Canadians to appreciate and celebrate seniors.
Seniors Outreach Society, Center for Seniors Information, the Tournament Capital Ambassadors, and Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services will be on-hand to talk with guests about the many opportunities available in the community for senior citizens.
Join us for a morning of good company and helpful information as we continue to come together to make our community livable for all.
