Tranquille Overpass Traffic Control

Kamloops, B.C. - Following a heavy truck hitting the Tranquille Road/Fortune Drive overpass at the North End of the Overlander Bridge, traffic flow is being adjusted to try to reduce congestion.

Traffic to the overpass has been cut off for safety reasons. Currently, north bound traffic is reduced to single lane, while south bound traffic still has two lanes open. During cleanup on the overpass both directions will be reduced to single lane. Two northbound lanes will be opened shortly to accommodate traffic flow.

Please use caution when driving in the area and obey all traffic control personnel.
