National Water Polo Championships Set to Start

Kamloops, B.C. - The City of Kamloops and the Pacific Storm Water Polo Club of Vancouver are pleased to welcome all athletes, officials and spectators to the 2012 18U Women's Canadian National Club Water Polo Championships at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre May 3rd to 6th, 2012.

Teams from across Canada will be competing throughout each day culminating in the championship game at 1:20 pm on Sunday, May 6th. This event provides a wonderful spectator opportunity to see water polo played at a high level - everyone is welcome to watch at no charge. If you cannot visit the facility, you can watch the games online at livestream.com/pacificstormwaterpolo.

Throughout the competition much of the leisure pool and amenities will remain open to the public. Regularly scheduled swimming lessons are in session. The main impact is on the main pool where competition is taking place - for pool schedule details during the event visit kamloops.ca/swim.
