Move for Health Day

Kamloops, B.C. - May 10th, 2012 is Move for Health Day. This international initiative was created in 2002 by the World Health Organization in order to promote physical activity. The BC Recreation and Parks Association (BCRPA), with support from Healthy Families BC, leads our province in promoting this global event and the benefits of healthy active living.

The City of Kamloops is pleased to offer many activities to promote physical activity over the life span in celebration of Move for Health Day. Join a Move for Health Day event to come together in the spirit of fun, inclusivity, and support of healthy active living.
