Kamloops, B.C. - The City of Kamloops and BC Transit have a hassle free way for you to take the bus. Purchased through your employer via regular payroll deduction for only $44 per month, ProPASS offers unlimited travel on transit service throughout Kamloops.
"Go green and save green!" says Colleen Lepik, City of Kamloops Transportation Coordinator. "By taking transit, ProPASS users help reduce rush hour congestion and their carbon footprint, plus...save money! With skyrocketing gas prices, taking the bus is an affordable way to commute to work."
Compared to monthly bus pass holders, ProPASS users save $108 a year, and like monthly bus passes, ProPASS is tax deductible. In addition to saving you money, ProPASS is a permanent bus pass so you no longer have to remember to buy a bus pass every month or have change or bus tickets on hand.
The ProPASS program now allows for up to two additional adult family members living in the same household as the ProPASS holder to also sign up for ProPASS and take advantage of the discounted rate.
Sign up for ProPASS before April 22nd (Earth Day) and you could win an e-book reader! Already have a ProPASS? Tell us your transit story and why you’re a ProPASS user and you could win an e-book reader too!
Employers will find ProPASS as easy to administer as a payroll deduction to the United Way. And, with more employees taking the bus instead of driving to work, employers may even find that more valuable parking spaces are freed up for their customers.
Employers who register for ProPASS before July 1st will receive six months free onboard bus advertising. For more details, contact Colleen Lepik at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information about ProPASS, visit www.kamloops.ca/propass.
