Modest increase to user fees for Tournament Capital Centre

Kamloops, B.C. – Effective January 1st, 2012 the Tournament Capital Centre, which rates and fees are set by City Council, is instigating a modest increase to admission and membership fees. TCC admissions fees have not changed since 2009, and the modest increase will help offset operating costs.

Under the new pricing, the following are examples of 2012 rates (including applicable taxes):

The premier 135,000 square-foot sporting facility boasts BC's only indoor throws room, an elite weight-lifting centre, Olympic-sized pool, indoor and outdoor tracks, and a wellness centre, in addition to year-round fitness and wellness programming. New this year to the TCC was in the installation of a live streaming webcam in the Fieldhouse, with cameras to follow in the Canada Games Aquatic Centre and Hillside Stadium. A brand new swim and fitness retail store is set to open December 9th in the TCC lobby area.
