Halloween Skate and Swim

Kamloops, B.C. - This Halloween, get out and take in some family fun with the Fabulously Freaky Halloween Event at the Valleyview Arena. From 3:30 - 6:30 pm on Friday, October 28, the Valleyview Arena is hosting a $2 Toonie Skate. Families can come out and skate in costume. Don't forget that the City of Kamloops is promoting its 'Be Smart and Wear a Helmet' campaign for public skating. At random times throughout the fall and winter seasons, participants wearing helmets will be rewarded with a free skate pass.

Make a splash at a Wacky Halloween Swim at the Westsyde Pool and Community Centre on Wednesday, October 26th, from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. On Saturday, October 29th, 2011, the Canada Games Aquatic Centre is hosting a Spooky Halloween Swim from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Both events cost regular admission to the pool.

Value Cards are now available for purchase at the Tournament Capital Centre and Westsyde Pool. These passes allow users to buy four sessions and get one session free.
