Interest in the program to date has been strong with local businesses such as Nexbuild Construction Corporation and Absorbent Products Limited already registered. Both companies have recognized the value of this program and the opportunity it will provide to their business to reduce their operating costs while becoming a 'greener' company.
Several seats remain for the upcoming Climate Smart training series which kicks off on October 25. A limited number of subsidies, worth up to 80% off, are being provided to support local businesses on a first-come-first-served basis.
