Children's Museum marks One Year Anniversary

Kamloops, B.C. - In celebration of the first anniversary of BC's only Children's Museum, the Kamloops Museum and Archives is hosting some special activities.

On July 9th, 2011, the Museum will be hosting a "Red Lights & Black Hearts" walking tour in downtown Kamloops in the morning. Pre-registration is required with program number 176482. There will be free crafts for kids and free face-painting from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on July 9th, with no registration required. Also, regular admission to the Museum will be waived for the day.

Since the opening of the Children's Museum last July, the Museum has seen overall attendance increased 30%, with up to a 40% increase in the summer months.
