Kamloops, B.C. - The City of Kamloops has concluded its investigation into the actions of a Kamloops fire fighter who drove a City emergency response vehicle while his driving privileges were suspended. The City's investigation concluded that the individual responded to multiple 911 calls and failed to disclose his suspended driving privileges.
This situation is a serious breach of the City's strict operational policies and a significant breach of the employment relationship.
As a result, the City has taken immediate steps to terminate the employment of this career fire fighter, effective today.
