Spring cleaning is underway in Kamloops! We’re busy sweeping streets, filling potholes, painting lines and washing bridges in our annual effort to say goodbye to winter woes and welcome the sparkle of spring!
Start to finish, it takes about 12 weeks to get this City looking spiffy! That’s 3 crews of 12 people, working five days a week to make Kamloops shine! The result: cleaner air, safer driving conditions, and a brighter City!
- Tentative Schedule:
- Street sweeping: March 13 – April 30
Watch for signs in your neighbourhood and do not park on the street until sweepers have passed.
Do your part: sweep your sidewalk onto the road before your street is cleaned!
- Line painting: April 3 – June 30
Drive with caution when approaching areas that are being painted, and do not drive over newly painted lines (it’s the law!).
- Potholes: Ongoing
Report a pothole using the MyKamloops App, or by calling 250-828-3461.
- Overlanders Bridge washing: April 8-9
Obey all traffic control personnel and signage and use caution when driving in proximity to the workers.
