The basic rule of thumb is this; the busier the street and the steeper it is, the higher the priority to keep it as bare as possible and return them to bare pavement within 4 hours after it stops snowing.

Borrowing Bylaw

Columbia Street Widening

The "Alternative Approval Process" allows eligible electors to petition council not to proceed with adoption of borrowing bylaws by using an Elector Response Form. The deadline for the City to receive signed Elector Response Forms is 4:30 PM, March 2, 2015.
