The City offers an alternative to pay for parking at a pay station kiosk for on-street and City-owned surface lot parking. The app is free to download and the rate is the same as at the kiosks.
The City recommends drivers pay for parking as soon as possible to avoid receiving tickets. Parking payment hours, rates, and timelines for on-street and surface lot parking have not changed and are available at Kamloops.ca/Parking.

Parking app for on-street and surface lot parking
The free PayByPhone app allows drivers to pay for City-owned parking with their credit card using a mobile app, a computer, or a phone instead of using a pay station. This app is integrated with the City’s parking system to provide real-time information patrolling Community Services Officers’ handheld units.

Flowbird
As of January 2024, the Flowbird app is no longer offered for parking payment. Users of the Flowbird app are encouraged to download the PayByPhone app to pay for parking or use a kiosk.
