Overview
The expostion's goal is to educate the community on what is available in the Kamloops region to support our
overall health and well-being. This will be an event full of engaging, fun, and interactive activities for the
entire family to improve the quality of life in our community.
The event will be held at the Tournament Capital Centre and is a free event for the public. We are inviting exhibitors in the community to set up booths on site to share their information in regard to how they help to support health, sport, and wellness in our region. We are looking for a great crossover of agencies and activities to help more of the community see what a wide range of healthy living choices we have in the Kamloops area.
Audience Profile
Families; some info for adults and seniors, but family focused.
Expected Attendance
2,000 people over the course of the afternoon. This is based on last year's numbers.

Exhibitor Categories
Exhibitor Criteria
To support the purpose and theme of the event, the following criteria must be met by our exhibitors:
**The See It! Try It! Do It! - Healthy Living Expo Committee reserves the right to limit exhibitor booths of the same category in order to ensure a good crossover of agencies and businesses for the community to see. Booths will be assigned on a first come, first served basis in each category. If at the end of the registration process there is additional booth space available, additional exhibitors in each category may be increased.

Booth Costs
Non-profit - no electrical power $35
Non-profit with electrical power $75
For profit business - no electrical power $100
For profit business with electrical power $140
Included With Your Booth
One eight foot banquet-style table and one tablecloth, two chairs, and floor space for your activity.
Booths will be located all over the Tournament Capital Centre including the aquatic centre; indoor and outdoor
fields; lobby; and mezzanine areas. Spaces will be assigned depending on your activity.
Powered Booth Space
Powered sites are limited. Your access to power gives access to one outlet plug (single cord plug-in). Should you
require an extension cord, you must provide your own. The cord must be an approved grounded extension cord in good repair.
Please be safety aware and avoid trip hazards.
Withdrawal Policy
80% refund if withdrawl before September 1, 2009
After September 1, 2009 no refund will be available.
Insurance
Limited insurance will be included for the event with some exemptions. Should your activity be outside the scope
of the coverage, or if you are unsure if the activity is outside the scope, please contact the committee at
healthexpo@kamloops.ca to inquire.
If the desired activity is outside the scope of the insurance coverage, you may approach the committee with your idea. Your own additional insurance may be required. Proof of this additional insurance must be received 14 days prior to the event.
