The City offers a free service to review proposals or concepts relative to the Zoning By-law and community plans. Developers wishing to take advantage of this service should submit detailed information so that our Project Evaluation Team can provide constructive feedback on the feasibility of a proposal.

Project Evaluation Team

The Project Evaluation Team (PET) is comprised of staff representing each City department in order to offer a timely review of proposed developments during the initial stages of a formal application.

PET provides direction on the suitability of the proposed development, identifies potential challenges, and offers possible solutions and preliminary information to both the applicant and respective City departments.

PET meets regularly each week and persons wishing to utilize this service should contact the Planning and Development Services Department.
