Overview
The Development and Engineering Services Department provides a compiled source of statistical information on
the City of Kamloops. The latest statistical document provides information from the 2006 Canada Census, the
Canada Housing and Mortgage Corporation (CMHC)'s Fall Rental Reports, and other sources.
The City of Kamloops Statistical Report 2008 will be updated as more data from the 2006 Canada Census becomes available. Additional data on Kamloops services will also be included. In the meantime, Statistical Data 2004 provides data on a wider range of demographic themes and services.
The Community Planning Section has compiled a list of sources of various statistical information that can be accessed for research purposes (Statistical Data 2005). These sources were also used in the compilation of the Statistical Data 2004 and Statistical Data 2008 documents.
