Community Planning

Planning staff are responsible for keeping the City's long-range policy documents up-to-date.

These documents include the Official Community Plan (KAMPLAN) and neighbourhood plans such as the City Centre Plan.

The preparation and review of these documents is done in close consultation with the public, community groups, businesses, and interested individuals.

Planning staff also contribute to affordable housing initiatives and liaise with the Heritage Commission.
