Business and Tourism Fulfillment: to collaborate with Venture Kamloops, Tourism Kamloops and other business organizations for the enhancement of business and tourism development in Kamloops.


Synchronize roles with the above organizations for cost-efficiency and to avoid overlap.
Liaise with business associations to leverage marketing, improve communication, and avoid overlap.
Assist the Thompson-Nicola Film Commission when film productions are interested in shooting within Kamloops.

Customer Service and Best Practices: to assist the senior management team in the City of Kamloops' Quest for Quality in municipal practices.


Contribute to customer service strategies to improve relations with citizens.
Maintain the customer service training and exercise program.
Participate in the development and execution of the Citizen Satisfaction Survey.

Client Assistance and Mediation: to ensure City of Kamloops responds to and communicates well with residents and businesses.


Offer intervention and mediation services between internal departments and clients or residents.
