The most common reasons dogs are impounded is because they were turned over by an owner or finder of the dog, or dogs were picked up by By-law Enforcement Officers for running at large.
Impoundment fees
- $75 - First impoundment
- $100 - Second Impoundment
- $200 - Third Impoundment
- $300 - Fourth Impoundment
- $12 - Board per day
