If you have a concern regarding a By-law infraction you have several options available to Register a Complaint.
Before we can act on your Complaint we will require your name, address and phone number. This information is kept strictly confidential and no names are given out until such time as the matter is heard in Provincial Court.
The specifics of your complaint is also required, the address and possibly the name of the property owner causing the problem, is beneficial to the investigating officer.
All complaints are placed on a calls for service complaint system that forwards the complaint to the appropriate department, Complaints are dealt with as they come to us.
Although we have not dentified priority levels those complaints that deal with public safety issues will be dealt with first.
Once an officer has concluded his investigation into your concern the information is entered back into the system for tracking purposes. The Bylaw Enforcement officer will contact you with the results of his investigation into your concerns.
